As the school year draws to a close, seniors at the Indiana County Technology Center (ICTC) are reflecting on a year filled with remarkable achievements and milestones. With an impressive 35 seniors securing cooperative education placements and outstanding performances on the NOCTI assessments, these students have demonstrated exceptional skill, dedication, and growth in their chosen career pathways.
The NOCTI tests have been in full swing for over a month, with written testing beginning early in March. Among the standout NOCTI performers this year are Homer Center students Landon Stuchel from the Information Technology program (ITS) and Jackson Supko from the Welding program. These two Homer Center seniors scored an impressive 95% on their written NOCTI assessments, highlighting their expertise and readiness to enter the workforce. Their achievements underscore both their hard work and the strong foundation provided by ICTC, preparing them for success in their respective fields.
Notably, Corbin Zack from the HVAC program and Felicia Miklusko from the Culinary Arts program achieved the most improved NOCTI scores. Through perseverance and determination, they not only passed their written exams but earned Advanced standing, demonstrating their significant growth over the course of their studies. Their success is a testament to their drive and commitment to success in their program areas.
Beyond academic accomplishments, ICTC seniors have also gained invaluable hands-on experience through cooperative education placements. With 35 students participating in these work-based learning opportunities, ICTC has continued to bridge the gap between classroom instruction and real-world industry demands. These experiences have equipped students with the practical knowledge and skills needed to transition seamlessly into their careers after graduation this May.
As our seniors prepare for their next chapter—whether entering the workforce, continuing their education, or advancing within their trade—they leave behind a legacy of perseverance, achievement, and dedication. ICTC proudly congratulates the Class of 2025 on a successful year and eagerly anticipates their future accomplishments.
