This program is a standalone ONE YEAR - SENIOR YEAR ONLY instructional program that operates as an integral part of career and technical education to provide a cooperative arrangement between the Indiana County Technology Center, supporting school dis­tricts, and local employers whereby the student receives career-related theory instruction and on-the-job training through part-time paid employment in business/ industry. The area of training may be in any career area where there are needs for trained persons and must relate to the student's career objective. This program is designed to provide training for those career areas not presently being offered through the Indiana County Technology Center or to serve students who are unable to gain admission to an ICTC program due to enrollment barriers. Students must document a minimum of 15 hours per week employment for a minimum of 150 school days. The goal of the program is to give students career experience before they graduate.  Possible employers span from farms to doctor’s offices.
